When I look at the students,
I feel pity towards them.
I scolded them, yelled at them.
When actually they've gone through a lot.
In the morning they've to wake up really early,
Start with the other classes, subjects, workshops (it's a vocational school, remember?),
In the evening they've to run around the field for sports,
or march all the way if it's uniform body.
I should be a bit patience with them.
Show them more love.
BE empathetic.
I'm tired.
They're tired too.
Except that I can express my tiredness to them through shouting and all.
But whom should they express their pains?
Being far away from home is the other thing.
It's their fragile moment.
I should spread more love.
Make life a bit easier for them.
Still giving them works, but not homeworks.
As they also need time to rest, and finishing other homeworks.
My works are better done in the class instead.
I'll give them time to finish it in the class.
After all their focus is the skills (workshops).
Why should I torture them with rigorous teaching and learning?
I will make sure my teaching is ever practical,
not simply drilling.
1 footsteps:
Indeed it's true.
